A Big Night for Discretionary Spending

AMZN and SBUX are just two of the big earnings reports coming up, which should shed some light as to where the XLY, consumer discretionary ETF, seen below on the daily chart, resolves the highlighted consolidation near recent highs. 

AAPL is also having a good day, with earnings next week, while FB falters after its own earnings.
