With crude oil getting drilled over Thanksgiving break, I expect my ERY long (triple-short the energy sector stocks) to do well on Friday. I may consider adding to the position, discussed in more detail in this blog post on Wednesday, if dip-buyers get stuffed on bounce attempts.
As for bottom-fishing crude oil itself, there is no doubt that the black gold is quite oversold here. The commodity itself probably should be due for a bounce, even if I am still bearish on energy stocks, which is why I could see a potential pair trade setting up for long crude but short energy stocks.
Elsewhere, CORN WEAT are still on my radar as soft commodity long ideas into strength.
Regarding equities, ACHN ITUB KONA are technically-sound long ideas on further strength.
