Flattening Out After a Winning Week; Chess Moves

charles-chess-set_LFcl3_48 It has been a very profitable several weeks of trading for me in 2015, thus far, after a solid 2014. I am off to a strong start and have decided to flatten out into the long, holiday weekend. I covered all of my equity shorts, as I am not going to press into a myriad of potential headlines (or lack thereof) over the long weekend. I could easily get short again next week if I see signs of this market bounce rolling over. But, for now, sellers have stepped off the gas pedal after last night's upside reversal in the futures. Here are my moves. I covered the rest of my FB short at $75.09 from the $76.22 entry to lock in the rest of that win. I covered the rest of my AAL short at $49.72 from my $53.59 entry to lock in the rest of that win. I sold my BIS long for a loss under $42.30 from the $43.85 entry yesterday. I covered the rest of my UAL short at $65.23 from my $65.13 entry for basically scratch on that piece of the trade after previously scaling profits. I covered my LOW short at $67.68 from $67.65 for scratch. And I covered my F short at $14.94 from the $14.91 entry for scratch. Thus, I am left with my NUGT long, with profit cushion from my $16.88 entry. Stay tuned for my Weekend Video Strategy Session for broad market analysis, actionable ideas, and educational information headed into next week. Have a great weekend, and I will see you there!
