Changing Consumer Tastes

While the hamburger wars have been heating of late, given the strength in SHAK and resurgence in MCD, while HABT JACK RRGB duke it out as well, many causal dining plays have been seeing some notable weakness.

Even stalwarts such as BWLD CMG have been glaringly weak, as we could easily be seeing a shift in eating trends.

But beyond the causal diners, a play like WWAV continues to be intriguing on many fronts.

WhiteWave is a name I have written about before in a very bullish light, namely due to the ferocious technicals, impressive portfolio of brands, and buyout potential. You are talking about the Silk almond, soy, and coconut milk lines, as well as the So Delicious dairy free ice cream.

Earlier this morning on the Market Chess Subscription Services' private Twitter feed, I alerted members to the long setup in WWAV again, which looks to be playing out reasonably well so far. True, the stock may be stretched longer-term. But not much has been able to slow down this trend. And, again, there is always that buyout potential. The longer the stock can now hold over $49, the more bullish it is going forward.
