Sicilian Revenge

SHAK earnings are tonight, another chart which was drilled visually nonstop starting in March 2015 but has shown some signs of recovering of late, trading back over its 200-day moving average, example.

Much like TWTR and especially YELP, we have some of these junior social, internet, and emerging theme names (SHAK for the fast casual, upscale burger joint play) growing up strong, just like Vito did in The Godfather: Part II (1974).

What you are noticing is that longs who loved these names and bought them all the way down are extremely quiet about their resurgence of late, which likely means they threw in the towel a while back or are too buried to even look at the position for now.

That type of sentiment can often be consistent with a true bottom, however. So I am looking to see if the progress holds in many of these names, including BABA FIT GPRO P, among others.

If so, then perhaps bears should have been more vicious like Don Ciccio and gone for the kill when they had the chance to slam the door shut on these businesses. Of course, we know Vito got away, anyway, escaping his would-be assassins and got revenge anyway.

[She reveals a concealed knife and holds it to DON CICCIO's neck.]

MOTHER (in Sicilian)
