The Dunkin' Donuts Formidable Fall Lineup

When we see the technicals align with news, it can be an intriguing proposition, indeed. In the case of DNKN, we saw remarkable resiliency even as the coffee commodity rallied earlier this month and equities in general churned.

Today, DNKN is an excellent example of the type of relative strength we look to ferret out for Members during market sell-offs. The idea behind relative strength is that we identify the very best stocks which are supported by strong handed-buyers, so that when the broad market regains its footing the given stock should flourish with broad market pressures presumably alleviated. 

On the weekly chart, below, note the triangle breakout spanning the last year in play. If DNKN can sustain this move amid broad market volatility it will be all the more impressive.

The Reese's Peanut Butter Square (a returning fan favorite, pictured above). This square-shaped donut is filled with decadent Reese's buttercreme and then finished off with chocolate icing and an orange drizzle. And the Caramel Apple Croissant Donut. This croissant-donut hybrid is glazed, drizzled in caramel sauce, and stuffed with an apple filling.
