Pour a Blizzard Out for Buffett's Homeboy John Stumpf

Wells Fargo reports earnings tomorrow morning before the bell, kicking off the banks' earning season with a slew of other financials reporting, as well.

CEO John Stumpf is on his way out with a golden parachute, as Warren Buffett remained surprisingly meek throughout the WFC accounts' scandal, given the threat to Berkshire's vaunted reputation and WFC being a sizable Buffett holding.

Although stocks rallied well off session lows today, it may be a bit too early to assume a bottom with so many longs likely holding from higher and the intraday grinding bounce higher seeming a bit too "easy."

While a Santa Claus rally may await us, Christmas is far off into the night as Stumpf makes his exit from a once-plain vanilla bank.

However, some intriguing inter-market opportunities are keeping us busy in the meantime.

More in my video market recap after the bell.
