Volume on the Menu at Steakhouses These Days

The high-end steakhouse chains, DFRG RUTH, respectively below on their daily charts, are sporting strong buy volume over a number of weeks, even months now, to accompany their rallies in price. This type of action likely indicates "accumulation," or heavy buying by institutions.

Thus, in addition to the improved action in some casual and fast-casual dining plays, even the more high end segment is performing better after a lackluster performance for much of 2016. Indeed, they are flashing promising signs of bottoming out here.
