Artful Speculation at the Guggenheim

After failing to, thus far, pounce on the short-term initiative since yesterday morning's sell-off, bears are rather sleepy today as we head into a three-day weekend.

The indices are holding their ground since an opening move higher. But the market largely has a feel to it of traders punting into next week and beyond the inauguration before we likely see some moves pick up. 

One industry which is seeing some hot speculative action would be the shippers, thought. The SEA, Guggenheim Shipping ETF, is seen below on the daily timeframe having previously cleared well-defined resistance. Much like solar, the shippers have been decimated in recent years and have destroyed a fair amount of capital on the way down. So, I suspect it will be a rocky road higher even if they have bottomed. 

But the likes of DCIX DSX are candidates for hot money scalps. Beyond that, we have a few larger cap, more liquid ideas which I will run through for Members in my usual Midday Video now.
