A Sector on Its Best Behavior

Led by the surging Micron and even NVIDIA setting back up again on the long side, the semiconductors continue to be the never-say-die group of stocks which have served as a microcosm for just how resilient equities have been for a good while now.

And until we reach that moment when bears finally break the chips, it behooves us to put in the word to ferret out fo the very best long setups.

As noted, NVDA is setting back up after a relative mild daily chart consolidation, while MU has been leading higher.

But also note the likes of a name like Cabot Microelectronics, below on the weekly timeframe. Despite the steep prior advance, bulls gave back relatively little in the way of a price correction this winter. And now CCMP is attempting to leave a three-and-a-half month base in the dust today.

There are a few other chip plays on our radar for Members, though we want to temper any exuberance with the sobering thought that the chips have already covered an awful lot of lost ground since the dot-com bubble in a virtual straight light higher.

However, as long the as the party is still going and the chips are on their best behavior, it is worth the time and effort to stalk and play some of the best charts in the space.
