Saturday Night at Market Chess Cinemas

I recently re-watched Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto (2006). Gibson is behind the camera on this one, as writer and director of an excellent, underrated historical action and adventure film with a no-name but phenomenal cast.

The film is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime. It is well worth your time for an exciting, intense, and historical template for what the fall of a civilization looks like and the barbaric nature of humans in times of extreme distress.
