Biding My Time After the Post-Minutes Ride

After the FOMC Minutes, the Dow is up nearly 200 points, with small caps slightly underperforming. As far as my open positions are concerned, I still see a decent consolidation day in the precious metals and miners (I am long NUGT SLW from lower prices). My equity shorts: AAL GOOG LOW V, are a mixed bag. LOW V are putting some heat on me, but nothing too dramatic yet. AAL and GOOG are actually red as I write this, working in my favor. GOOG is a winning short for me here, as I entered above $524 on this blog. On the daily chart, below, despite being down several days in a row, the premier Nasdaq stock still has not hit its lower daily chart Bollinger Band. So, it is not yet oversold. I am hanging onto my short for now. I am not seeing too many fresh entries at the moment, but stay tuned as that can change quickly.
