What is a Ho-Ho-Ho

The Santa rally is kicking off with a drifting move higher today. The Dow is not at 20,000, but that is not making life any easier for bears who have yet to throw in the towel on their thesis. 

I am looking to see if the precious miners can sustain today's bounce, too, beyond a mere one-off move. Indeed, doing so will be a bit of a change in character for them compared to the recent weeks. 

Overall, there are a fair amount of quality setups we are watching closely beyond this holiday week--Distinguishing between holiday bounces versus quality swings is critical.
