A Good Market to Stay Present

It strikes me that more and more market players, likely due to the social media effect, enjoy constantly making bold, directional calls about several markets and asset classes. But with the more bold predictions we see, the more anti-climactic the price action can often yield. 

Despite the senior averages flashing green, small caps will finally close red today. But we are nowhere near where top-callers had anticipated this week, as the rotation threat is present yet again.

Indeed, in lieu of making bold calls based on historical overlays or fading that someone special, this seems to be the type of market to stay present in the moment and focused on the many moving parts below the surface.
