Can You Lay Off the Action?
No one travels to the casino with the intention of folding hand after hand in poker, nor to walk away from a cold blackjack table.
But such is life as a speculator, where the action is soggy and most trades seem like a reach. At times, the best trade is no trade, and laying off the action can seem like one of the best trades to make in lieu of making unforced errors.
As we wind down this mixed trading session, bounces remain uninspiring and I am curious to see if dip-buyers decide the jig is up as far as energetic snapback rallies materializes should we see a weak open tomorrow.
Of course, a big week of earnings with Amazon and the whole gang coming up could easily tip the scales either way in the near-term.
