Memorial Day Weekend at Market Chess Cinemas

First and foremost, I have high expectations for HISTORY channel's three-night miniseries event, “Grant,” which will premiere over three consecutive nights beginning on Monday, May 25th at 9PM ET/PT--See the preview, below. The television event will chronicle the life of one of the most complex and underappreciated generals and presidents in U.S. history – Ulysses S. Grant. 

Next, two films which I have seen and recommend this weekend, especially: Glory (1989) and American Sniper (2014), both of which are excellent and reflect the sentiment of this holiday.
