There may very well be renewed uncertainty over various virus restrictions across the country, not to mentioned the Treasury cutting Fed lending program.
But you would not know it from gauging solar stocks. Various solars, be it high beta names like SOL SPI SUNW, have been hot this week, and the more standard names like FSLR (below, on its daily chart, and looking actionable) RUN SPWR are also acting well.
We can speculative on the "why," but the reality is that this sector been working on a 6-7 week base (on the TAN sector ETF) and may be ripe to push higher yet into the holidays and beyond.
Elsewhere, gold miners are showing some initial life off the GDX 200-day moving average test we discussed yesterday.
