Basic Hurricane Plays

"Helene" is currently a Category 2 hurricane with wind speeds of 105 miles per hour, and is expected to make landfall this evening along Florida's northern and western regions. 

Even to the most seasoned weather and hurricane experts there is a wide degree of unknowns regarding just how bad things could get, or whether the entire ordeal could be much ado about nothing. 

But with some fairly widespread evacuations already taking place in the areas north of Tampa I do think the folks with some money who choose to stick around could easily run out to buy a generator for their homes. 

GNRC is a pure play on this, as Generac is a strong brand name in the hone backup generator segment. On the GNRC daily chart, below, we see a solid technical setup for longs, basing above all moving averages. 

Other plays of note: PWR for storm cleanup, but that has already rallied hard over the last week. And ENR for batteries, which is finally waking up today.
