I Want My $50,000 Dow Dollars!

In between thinking about Pam Bondi recently paying homage to Tatum O'Neal in Paper Moon (1973), we also have Trump's State of the Union Address coming up tomorrow evening.

The President already gave out an expectation that he will give a "long speech," which could easily mean the east coast telecast will not conclude until well after midnight. 

Beyond that, given his poor poll numbers and the Dow, suddenly, back below the 50,000 big, round, number, chaos regarding his beloved tariffs, and of course looming Iran issues, it logically (take that word with a grain of salt in today's world) follows that Trump has every motivation to serve some comfort food distractions as much as possible during his speech.  

Thus, beyond discussing the gold metal hockey team at the recent Olympics, he is likely to touch on space and aliens, the great American pastime. 

Procure Space ETF (UFO) is one such play off this notion, with a decent chart and, again, omnipresent interest from a decent chunk of the American people regardless of the shenanigans of the given day. 

Overall, with software cratering 5% again today on the IGV ETF, the semis are still a key to holding things together as we approach NVDA and CRM earnings Wednesday evening.
