Three's Company After the Bell Tonight

The three-headed monster of controversial stocks each reports earnings after the bell tonight: GMCR, HLF, and the estimable TSLA.

It my very well be a good market pulse to see how each stock reacts, in terms of whether we are still at that phase of the bull market where "hated" stocks continue to punish shorts, or instead finally succumb. 

As for the market at-large, after then opening gap higher the session settled into another summer grind. Also note the VIX reversing higher, after it had a chance to collapse earlier. It is still in the red, of course.
