Smoke (1995), directed by the talented Wayne Wang, seems to have been lost in the shuffle over time. But, make no mistake, this one is worth a viewing. I consider this one of the best films of the 1990s.
Starring Harvey Keitel, William Hurt, and Giancarlo Esposito, the film weaves together several intriguing storylines around a Brooklyn smoke shop.
The film also shows Keitel's range, as he tones it down a bit in a more nuanced role.
