Your Money or Your Life? I'm Thinking it Over!

A quick way to remember the retail sector strength of late may very well be to conjure up memories of legendary comedian Jack Benny. Much of Benny's schtick often revolved around him being a miser, as evidenced in the audio clip, below. 

With this in mind, note that the bargain-hunting segment of retail, be it DG DLTR EZPW, among others, continue to act well and outperform many other XRT sector components.

While it is certainly true that Costco has been the dominant bargain/treasure hunting play in the space for years, I suspect they are slowly losing market share for a variety of reasons, and may be forced to acquire an up-and-comer. 

Elsewhere, we have a loaded earnings slate tonight, with AMZN GOOGL INTC, and many others. TWTR did an admirable job of not fading today, too.
