U, U Got a Gift My Friend

Not only have uranium stocks been acting better on their own merits, they may very well be receiving a "gift" in terms of the geopolitical news flow and tensions building around the world. 

URA is the ETF for uranium stocks, which seem to be vastly overlooked these days, and I can see why: They have fizzled out each time they had been promising in the past.

Still, observing Energy Fuels (UUUU), below on the daily chart, it is hard not to like the heavy buy volume advance to prior highs. The low-priced speculative play still needs to clear $2, and there are relatively safe and larger, more liquid plays like CCJ, even NRG. 

But if the sector truly does heat up then high beta names like UUUU should benefit immensely.
