Saturday Night at Market Chess Cinemas

Depicting the final twelve hours in the life of Jesus of Nazareth on the day of his crucifixion in Jerusalem, Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ (2004) is currently available on Amazon Prime and is worth a viewing.

Note that this applies to everyone, regardless of your religious beliefs and views on religion in general--You can tell that Gibson, who fully understands how controversial of a person he has become over the years, was intentionally trying to create the best historical depiction he could.

Kudos to an intense and focused Jim Caviezel, starring as Jesus Christ, as the film depicts the Passion of Jesus largely according to the New Testament Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

If nothing else, the film is food for thought for those who are spiritually and/or intellectually curious.
